Dear Past, part I

I mourn for those long ago memories,
Narrated like stories.

I cry at the thought,
Of what I fought.

I cry at the good times,
And sometimes would whine.

Because I miss those days,
"I remember," I'd say.

These feelings of nostalgia,
Fill me with hysteria.

The past was funny,
But now make my nose runny.

Here I lay,
Passing life away.

Remembering the past,
Now it seems so vast.
