Surprising Words, fold-it poem

The first page to my poetry book.

The fold-it poem was done by my group. You see, we each took turns writing a line, and whatever the last word is, the person wrote it on the 2nd line, and the next person will cover, or fold up, the rest of the page to where he/she can only see the last word of the previous written line, and then write whatever comes to their mind afterwards.

Read left to right; I didn't draw this right to left.

I am not a piece of
crap.
You mean the stuff that's
brown?
Brown leaves barely holding onto the tree
branch.
And on the branch is the night owl who sees you for what you
are.
I feel as if my mind crumbles each time you tell me I
can't.
Who cares? It's not about you, but what you do in
life.
Beautiful and terrorizing is
life.
Life is what we are given and yet life is what we
waste.
